Architects at Work

SUMMER WORK PROGRAM

Transition Youth Ages 15-21

The Summer Work Program provides students with paid employment between June and August. Selected youth work in a variety of roles within their community. Participants are selected on a first-come, first-served basis with requirements including residency and financial need. The program includes four days of work readiness training.

CAREER CAMP

Students ages 14-21

Initiative, teamwork, soft skills, effective communication, time-management, and work basked experience are essential skills needed to join today’s workforce. Our organization provides career education, career research, work-based learning, self-advocacy, and leadership skill-building through Career Camp.

Participants learn career education, career research, work-based learning, social skills, and life skills. Community outings and guest speakers help students discover their future path.

Kids Reading Outdoor

SUMMER READING CAMP
 Students ages 5 - 14
 

The reading camp is held during the month of June on Tuesdays and Thursdays for students who need extra help with reading. Reading Camp builds both reading skills and self-confidence

Transition Youth Ages 14-21

This year-long program brings together a diverse and inclusive group of students from public & private schools in Hendry and Glades counties who desire to demonstrate leadership potential in formal & informal situations and prepare them to become ethical leaders committed to active community involvement and creating inclusive community environments.
